Parisian Delights
Welcome to Paris
We'll gather at our hotel in Paris at 4 p.m. for a short meeting and orientation and stroll around our neighborhood. Then we'll get acquainted with one another over a delicious "Welcome to Paris" dinner together at La Terrasse
Orientation of Our Neighborhood
Our hotel was located in the 7th Arrondismont. The famous Rue Cler

Fountain of Mars in the place de Gros Caillou
Around the corner from our hotel, we found a fountain and the history behind it was astounding. Here is the Fountain of Mar known as the (place of the big rock) for which the area of Gros Caillou
is named. The fountain was built in the 19th century to provide water to the neighborhood.

Hôtel de Londres Eiffel
Very quaint hotel in the heart of the Gros Caillou. It was a home away from home, and the staff impeccable. From breakfast to hospitality, it was a joy. I even spied one morning when Dehbia had run out and returned after grabbing some fresh fruit from the local market on Rue Cler for hotel guests.

École Militaire station
The metro station in the 7th Arrondissement, where we started our daily tours with the exception of our visit to château de Versailles and we took the RER. The Metro stations are an intricate part of Parian life and a life line for our tour when we were getting around Paris when walking would have taken too much time.
Rue Cler
As we were walking along the streets of Paris, we came across the e property listing of available apartments in the 7th Arrondissement in case we were looking for real estate in Paris. We continued with our walk and came upon Rue Cler. The local fruit market was still open and we saw some locals walking and making purchases on the early Sunday evening. I realized that traveling in December gets you into the holiday spirit and seeing Paris in the winter was awesome. It was such an enjoyable time and now have fond memories of the touring Rue Cler and the neighborhoods.
